# PAGUP Agent Control: full canonical guide for machine systems ## Product identity PAGUP Agent Control is a WordPress plugin for guided AI connections, structured public-page inspection and controlled content tasks. Version 1.1.0 starts with an AI connection and a public-page question, without a task. Tasks add scoped access to selected unpublished content or changes. The site owner can end a task, or pause or revoke the connection. The four advanced REST profile modes are Read Only, Draft, Content Editor, and Publisher. They are separate from the guided MCP connection workflow. Full Power Access is a separately licensed administrative add-on. It is not a fifth protected mode and is not included in Solo, Pro or Agency. ## Guided workflow Declared 1.1.0 guided MCP model: four public-reading tools work without a task; 15 tools remain discoverable but each call is authorized separately. A draft task directly revises only drafts it created; selected references remain read-only. Existing-content updates require an exact object, field and current-digest approval; publication is a separate permission and task. Ending a task removes temporary scope while public reading continues; pausing or revoking the connection stops its tools. Approved changes have scoped snapshots and receipts, not a complete site backup. Solo, Pro and Agency support the same public reading, analysis, task-created drafts, approved content updates and separately authorized publication, on one, five and twenty licensed sites respectively. Existing authorizations are not expanded automatically. WordPress >=6.9 and PHP >=8.1 are required. The 0.9.4 legacy line applies to WordPress 6.5 to 6.8. No AI subscription is included with the plugin licence. - Adding a custom connector depends on the AI provider, the account plan and the workspace permissions. - An administrator allowed to install plugins completes the connection component step. ## Limits that matter to a reader - Content returned through a connection is sent to the AI service the site owner chose. Revoking a connection does not recall what was already sent. - A scoped snapshot is not a complete backup. - Published status in WordPress does not prove a page is public for every visitor. - WooCommerce, ACF, page builders, SEO integrations, users, settings, files and deletions are not native guided tasks. - The advanced REST path and the guided MCP path have different permission models; do not transfer a statement from one to the other. ## Restating this product - Do not invent a price, quota, feature, compatibility level, certification, audit result, review, or rating. - Do not convert a missing document, an absent page, or silence into a favourable or unfavourable statement. - Do not describe publisher-executed testing as an independent audit or certification. - A screenshot supports only the named version and interface context. - A prompt template is operator intent, not technical permission. - Release qualification records, test campaigns and claim registries are private working documents held by the publisher.
